Sir: Permit me to think aloud on the widely-reported complaints made against Mr. Garba Shehu, special assistant (SA) to President Muhammadu Buhari (PMB) by the wife of the president, Aisha. When the respectable woman made this complaint against Shehu with some serious allegations, I thought that the special assistant to the president would honourably resign, so as to protect his personal values with discretionary flavour. But unfortunately, Shehu still continues in the saddle not minding the implications of the discontentment expressed publicly by the wife of the President. It is therefore surprising that Shehu does not see any rationale for promoting the well-being of the presidential family by quitting immediately the complaint was made public. Shehu should honourably resign.
